We spoke to Jessica Huie and here’s what she had to say.
I’m the founder of two small businesses: Color blind cards and JH Public Relations. I’m passionate about multiculturalism and social mobility and I love working with visionary and inspiring individuals and helping to make them visible through PR.
What inspires you?
I’m inspired by what is possible for every one of us. I see life as a great big blank canvas and we are the artists. I’m inspired by my children increasingly, their fearlessness and desire to take on the world in their own respective ways. I’m inspired by the vast majority of the individuals we represent at JHPR, their sector might vary but they are all trail blazers doing something they care about and making their passion their business. That’s the way I think it should be, our work and pleasure should be one and the same sooner or later.
What’s your message to AWMB community?
Once you have made your business your passion and are authentic with your offering, don’t be afraid to be visible and step in front of your brand. People will buy into your product once you make yourself accessible. This is the power of PR.
Tell us something that would surprise us about you.
As a teenager I was desperate to be a professional ballerina and even applied to the Royal Ballet School but was too tall!
