The Monday Ritual That Makes Everything Easier

I’ve learned that how I start my week determines whether I glide through it or spend it chasing my own tail. And the truth is: I’m simply not at my best when I’m working in isolation. I used to think that being “disciplined” meant locking myself away with a to-do list and sheer willpower. Spoiler alert: it did not.

What actually changed everything for me was co-working. More specifically, body doubling, the practice of working alongside someone else to strengthen focus, accountability and momentum. It sounds almost too simple to work, but honestly, that’s the magic of it.

Every Monday morning, I host a focused virtual co-working session with my Inspire Club community. There’s nothing flashy about it. No complicated templates. No productivity hacks that require a PhD and three monitors. Just a group of women showing up with intention and doing the work that moves their week forward.

Here’s the rhythm we follow:

• We join the call and share our focus for the session
• A quick grounding moment a breath, a reset, a reminder that we’re not alone
• 50 minutes of deep, focused work
• A short break (inspired by science… and the need for tea)
• Another 50-minute sprint to build real momentum

That’s it. And yet, the impact is anything but small.

Something powerful happens when women gather with purpose.

Clarity rises. Accountability strengthens. Tasks that felt heavy suddenly feel doable.
And the work you’ve been avoiding? It becomes lighter not because the task changed, but because your environment did.

This is the part most people underestimate: productivity isn’t only about grit. It’s about structure. Support. Energy. The right container can turn overwhelm into progress and resistance into flow.

Co-working and body doubling work because they create three things we rarely give ourselves:

1. External accountability
You say you’re going to do something… and then, because someone heard you, you actually do it.

2. Shared energy
Watching other people focus is surprisingly contagious. It pulls you into your own focus faster.

3. Momentum without pressure
No forced cheerleading, no hustle culture vibes just a gentle, steady push forward.

Every Monday, I’m reminded that progress doesn’t always require discipline that feels punishing. Sometimes it just requires the right room — virtual or not — with the right people inside it.

If you’ve been craving more focus, more structure, or simply the feeling of not starting your week alone, co-working might be the missing piece.

A strong week starts with a strong beginning. And you don’t have to build it by yourself.
