Turning 45 this year has definitely made me reflect a little more.
Not in a dramatic “midlife crisis” kind of way 😅
More in a quiet:
“I’ve done so much already… so what do I actually want next?” kind of way.
Because when I stop and really think about it, I’ve ticked off so much of the “life list.”
🎓 Went to university
📚 Got 2 degrees
🏠 Lived away from home and built my independence
💍 Got married
👩👧👦 Had children
🏡 Made a home
💼 Built a successful career
🚀 Started a business
✈️ Travelled the world
⛰️ Climbed mountains
🎬 Even had a film on Amazon Prime for goodness sake 😂
And I’m incredibly grateful for all of it.
But lately I’ve realised something important:
You can build a very full life and still find yourself craving space to pause and ask:
“What would make this next chapter feel truly fulfilling?”
I think a lot of women quietly arrive at this point.
Women who are capable, ambitious and responsible. Women who spent years building careers, families, businesses and lives they once dreamed of.
From the outside, everything can look “successful.”
But internally, there can still be this gentle feeling of:
“Okay… but what now?”
Not because you’re unhappy. Not because you’re ungrateful. Not because your life isn’t good.
But because growth changes us.
What success looked like at 25 often isn’t what success looks like at 45.
And I think many of us were taught how to achieve… but not necessarily how to evolve.
As South Asian women especially, so much of our identity can become tied to achievement, responsibility and being who everyone else needs us to be.
The good daughter.
The dependable employee.
The supportive wife.
The capable mother.
And somewhere along the way, we can lose touch with ourselves a little.
Not completely.
But enough to start wondering:
“What do I actually want now?”
For me, success has started to look different lately.
Less about proving. Less about constant striving. Less about ticking more boxes.
And more about:
- Alignment
- Peace
- Meaningful work
- Community
- Autonomy
- Time freedom
- Feeling connected to myself again
Which is why I decided to join my friend Tazmin’s Success Alignment Roadmap next month.
Not because I need another productivity framework or business strategy. But because I genuinely think intentional reflection is something many of us don’t create enough space for.
Life is noisy. There’s always another deadline, another responsibility, another thing demanding our attention. So often we only stop and reflect when something falls apart. But what if we gave ourselves permission to pause before that?
The Success Alignment Roadmap is a 5-day experience designed for high-performing women who want to reconnect with what they actually want and redefine success on their own terms.
No hustle culture.
No pretending.
No pressure to become “more.”
Just honest reflection and clarity around what matters now.
✨ 1 hour a day for 5 days
💻 Online + replays
📍Starts 1st June
💖 Only £47
And honestly? That feels like a pretty valuable investment for the kind of clarity it could create.
Because maybe this next chapter isn’t about doing more. Maybe it’s about becoming more honest about what truly matters to you now. JOIN US HERE
