To mark the opening of Inspire Club doors on Monday 25th April we are bringing you exclusive stories from our members on Instagram Live every day that week at 8pm.
Kicking off with on Monday 25th April with “Asian Husband’s Supporting Their Wife’s Personal Development”. We have Inderpal, Manjit and Kiran with their spouses will be talking about the impact of Inspire Club. The ripple effect of women growing, developing and living a life with more confidence and less limitations is felt positively by the whole family. Whilst some South Asian men are supportive of their wives (I am on occasion contacted by husband’s to coach their wife!) this is something that we would love to see more of in our wider community.

On Tuesday 26th April our theme is “Step Into Your Personal Power & Own Your Growth”. Personal power isn’t arrogance. It’s not selfishness, nor giving in to the desire to release your inner controlling bitch. Personal power is your inner strength a faith in yourself, a willingness to be a co-creator of your life. You are remarkable and can do incredible things when you take responsibility for yourself and your life. Personal power is an ability to access and own your true potential where you recognise yourself as an individual who is the best version of who she is. It is realising your authentic self with all your strengths and weaknesses and accepting yourself for who you are and then defining for yourself how to use this power to achieve your goals. I will be joined by Tina, Sukhi, Harps x 2!

On Wednesday 27th April we are turning our minds to ” Pursuing Professional Development As Brown Women” From entry-level to C-level positions, women face more barriers and advance at a slower pace compared to their male counterparts. Even when training is available, the opportunity to advance and apply skills may not always exist. In Inspire Club we are encouraging our members to pursue their professional development and advocate for themselves at work. I am joined by Nev, Bhavika, Mandip & Sati as we discuss the importance of this and how Inspire Club has helped them.

On Thursday 28th April we are talking all things “Asian Women Bossing It”. We have seen a direct correlation between Inspire Club members setting up and growing their small businesses. Join us as we discuss how comfort zones have been smashed and hear how Minnie, Mandeep, Yadveer and Gurinder did it!

On our final day, Friday 29th April, Now Or Never, I will be joined by members sharing their stories of the impact Inspire Club has had on them. We are LIVE from our South monthly get together which coincided with doors closing! Relationships with women are so important. It is what bounds us, strengthens us, and empowers us. It is a sacred bond. Whether these friendships are short term or are forever, we cherish them. Sisterhood is a bond that goes beyond being family. It connects women to each other and in its most magical manifestations, allows each woman in the sisterhood to thrive in ways she could never do on her own.
