On Saturday 16th October, 120 women + 20 Future Asian Women Who Mean Business gathered at the Marriott, London Heathrow for an incredible afternoon of fun, connection and sisterhood. I am still floating in another world and pinching myself! Did that really happen?!

All our suppliers for this event were South Asian women, from the Sales Manager at the hotel, to our videographer, photographer, entertainment, decor, stall holders and speakers we are a testament to the variety of talent in our community.
The theme of the event was “Dare To Dream Bigger”.
So often, as South Asian women, we don’t even get the chance to dream, we’re so busy in our lives, we’re so busy in the roles that we’ve been given and conditioned to be in whether that’s daughter, mother, wife, daughter in law, sister, we’re so busy doing everything for everyone else that we never get the opportunity to ask ourselves: “What do you want? What’s your dream? What is your heart whispering to you?”
I believe that every woman has a dream. We have a dream that has been gifted to us, implanted in our hearts by the Creator, by divinity, by the universe, but we get so busy that we lose sight of that dream.
I asked the ladies on that Saturday to take a moment, close your eyes, put your hand on your heart and ask yourself “What is my dream? What would I do if I wasn’t afraid? What would I do if my success was guaranteed?”. You should try that too. And keep doing it until something comes to you that you can pursue with joy.
I am daring you today to dream bigger, bolder and brighter.
Inspire Fest represents to me what happens when you dare to whisper your dreams, and you allow others to step into that dream and they help you bring it to life. We have incredible women in our community, if you dare to tell them your dreams, they will hold your hand and make it possible for you.
Please don’t get to the end of your days here on this earth, in this lifetime with those dreams, still in your heart, where you’ve not even attempted to make them come true, because I promise you, it is possible, but it starts with you. You will always regret the things you didn’t attempt to do. Make a start today.
