It is always a moment of great joy when we see women following their purpose, steeping outside of their comfort zone and two incredible women collaborating. For a while now we have been fans of a blog called Shelved and the incredible illustrations by Jasveer. She has now turned her designs into T Shirts!
“My T-shirt’s are to advocate and honour feelings. And so it makes me happy to let you know you are now able to purchase a T-shirt with an image which evokes a feeling or shows a feeling.”
Finding a sustainable, ethical company for her T-shirt’s was her number one priority. They use natural materials in the products and renewable energy is used throughout the supply chain.
And the cherry on the cake?! All profits will be going to a mental health charity, of choice and this month it is Sikh Forgiveness.
Jasveer said:
“After meeting Sandy not so long ago and seeing all she is putting into helping and aiding others within a community where mental health is ‘brushed under the carpet’, to understand mental health better. I couldn’t think of a better place for the profits to go. Sandy and her team have worked hard to bring people together and help where they can. Making mental health a less taboo topic has been something I strongly believe in, especially in communities where taboo topics are made to something ‘you can’t talk about’ or ‘we just don’t talk about’.
In the last few months, where everyone has been struggling with their own personal battles, Sandy and her team have been providing a place of solace wherever they can. Whether it be a virtual book club or yoga session. I have watched while so many doors have been opened for people who may be alone, struggling or need an outlet and it has been inspiring.”
